Why YoLo exists

I got fed up with the App Store. Search for a loyalty card app and you find the same thing over and over: a subscription to unlock more than a handful of cards, banners covering your barcode at the checkout, trackers you never agreed to, and an account just to scan a code.

So I built the app I wanted. YoLo – Your Loyalty App – stores your cards and shows the barcode. That's it. It is made by one person, it isn't tied to any paid service or company, and nobody is paying for your attention or your data.

An honest app, made by someone who was annoyed by all the garbage in the App Store.

What it does

Scan in seconds

Point your camera at the barcode inside a card-shaped frame. QR, EAN, Code 128, PDF417, Aztec, Data Matrix, Code 39, ITF and more.

Knows your stores

Hundreds of stores are recognised, with their logo and colour. If yours is missing, one tap suggests it.

Barcode up front

Open a card and the barcode is at the top on the card's colour, with the screen at full brightness.

Widget

Put the card you use most on your home screen.

Face ID lock

Keep your cards private behind Face ID or your passcode.

Safe in iCloud

New iPhone? Your cards come back through your own iCloud. I can't see them.

Share with family

Invite family and everyone sees and adds to the same set of cards.

Photos, expiry and notes

Add photos of the front and back, an expiry date and a note.

Import

Bring cards in from a backup file, Wallet passes or a photo of a barcode.

How can it be free?

There is nothing to pay for. YoLo has no servers of its own that store your data: your cards live on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. There are no ads to sell and no subscription to push.
